The Malamatina Winery produces its wine from old vines that are harvested by hand, from selected vines of low yields. Our needs are covered by partner winemakers. With the aim of supplying healthy and quality grapes every year, we carefully select our associated vine breeders who are distinguished for their professionalism and love for the art of winemaking.

Over the last decade, Malamatina Winery has been absorbing from Greek vine breeders about 30,000 tons of grapes, providing them with the necessary confidence to continue viticulture. In their work, the winegrowers are assisted by experienced scientists, who advise them on spraying and fertilizing to achieve a complete cultivation, while monitoring the ripening of the grapes and deciding when to start harvesting.
